60 Day New Testament Journey ~ Romans 9-16

“What will is the molded to say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?” 9:20-21

His plan is above our will and what we think is best for ourselves. Only Christ has made it possible that through misery and trails He can be glorified, and that is beyond our eyes which are only able to see so little. He has made us perfect in his own ways and for his own ways. We have no right to call any part of ourselves or anyone else imperfect in anyway because every bit of detail in our beings was crafted to give Him glory.

The Message of Salvation – “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” 10:8-10

“Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Out do one another in showing honor.. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another.. If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.. Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good.” 12:9-10,15-16,20-21

Be the strongest example of Jesus that you can be!

That is all for today’s short devo & this also concludes the book of Romans. I really really enjoyed Romans, its one of my favorites so far and it is completely filled with motivation and strength in Christ. So if you feel like you need a fresh new outlook in your faith, or even just a renewal I would definitely recommend Romans! I hope you are doing so well, Love you all! Until next time πŸ™‚
