60 Day New Testament Journey – Day 6 Matthew 21-24

“Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive in faith.” 21:22

The Greatest Commandments – “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 22:37-39

The Trinity revealed and hinted by people for the first time in the New Testament:

Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question, saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “The son of David.” He said to them, “How is it then that David, in the Spirit, calls him Lord, saying, “The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”? If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?” And no one was able to answer him a word, nor from that day did anyone dare to ask him any more questions. 22:41-46

“For you have one instructor, Christ. The greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” 23:10-12

Practice what you preach! It is one thing to be good and speaking the word of God, but it shows great growth and personality in Christ when you live out the word and show the world the Jesus that is in you.

Signs of the End of the Age foretold by Christ – Matthew 24:3-12

  • Many will come in His name, saying “I am the Christ.” and they will lead many astray.
  • you will hear of war and rumors of wars
  • nations will rise against nations
  • kingdom against kingdom
  • Famines and earthquakes in various places
  • Tribulation
  • Christian will be hated by all nations for His name’s sake
  • love of many will grow cold

“But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” 24:13

Praying for those who are called by Christ to be Prophets, wise men, and scribes. We as Christians will all be persecuted at one point or the other, but these people will live a life of persecution. Just praying for favor, blessing, boldness, strength, and courage.

I hope are all doing well and had a great day! Until tomorrow 🙂
